Exiting Pilot

Exiting is a two-step process.

Step 1 — Preview

Pilot shows:

  • Current strategy value

  • Estimated closing trading cost

  • Expected USDC balance after closing

  • The account where the balance will remain

Step 2 — Close both legs

Monetrix:

  1. Checks liquidity and balances

  2. Closes the perpetual short

  3. Sells the corresponding spot position

  4. Verifies that both balances are zero

The service remains active during the closing process. Monetrix continues monitoring liquidation risk until the exit completes.

After closing

When both legs are closed:

  • Pilot shows Position closed

  • Automated management ends

  • Remaining USDC stays in the strategy account

  • No automatic transfer to the main wallet is required

The user can redeploy or transfer the USDC later.
