# Managing a running strategy

Pilot is designed to operate without manual position management.

## What the dashboard shows

* Strategy value
* Real net return
* Funding earned
* Total trading and performance fees
* Net exposure
* Current Health Factor
* Spot and perpetual size
* Execution and rebalance history

Spot and perpetual PnL are not tracked separately because the product is managed and evaluated as one delta-neutral strategy.

## Strategy controls

Each control has a different effect.

### Add funds

Adds USDC to the strategy account.

After funds are added, Monetrix may expand both matched DN legs according to the current mode to put the additional capital to work and increase funding-yield income.

### Stop new entries

Stops Monetrix from increasing the strategy's position size.

It does **not** stop risk management:

* The existing DN position remains open
* Funding continues to accrue
* HF monitoring remains active
* Rebalancing remains active
* Monetrix may partially close the position at the warning line

The user can later resume new entries.

### Exit strategy

Closes both hedge legs and ends the Pilot service after the exit completes.

The remaining USDC stays in the user's strategy account.

## Protection before service ends

While the API wallet remains authorized, liquidation-prevention controls remain active until both legs have closed and Pilot has ended.

Stopping new entries is not the same as stopping the service.

## What users should not do

Users should not:

* Trade manually in the strategy account
* Move strategy collateral
* Add unrelated assets
* Revoke the API wallet while positions remain open

Manual account activity may pause automation and affect protection eligibility.
